It applies exclusively to PEF Department of Information Technology subjects! The recognition of an exam or credit must be in accordance with the valid wording of the Study and Examination Regulations for bachelor's and subsequent master's study programs of the CZU in Prague.

  Requests for subject recognition Credits and exams are recognized in progress the first two weeks of the semester. Subjects that have already been recognized, as well as subjects for which the student has already received an academic degree, or subjects from another active/interrupted study that the student can still successfully complete, are not recognized. Subjects completed as part of a bachelor's degree cannot be recognized in a master's degree. Application through is preferred contact center at UIS (hereinafter referred to as KC).   Closed subjects that the student studied at CZU, and for which the exam/credit date is not older than 5 years, are recognized based on an electronic application in KC UIS. Exceptions are credits from BP/DP, which must be obtained in a new study, as well as credit from Introduction to study, which is older than one year or comes from another faculty. The student only lists the subjects for which he is requesting recognition in the application, he does not need to provide additional documentation.   Closed subjects that the student obtained outside ČZU, and for which the exam/credit date is not older than 5 years, it is only possible to recognize a maximum of 1 subject per semester, for both bachelor's and master's degrees of study. The student submits the application through KC at UIS with all the submitted documents for recognition (confirmed course syllabus, confirmed transcript of grades) to the study department. In the event that the application has all the prescribed requirements, the study officer forwards it again via KC to the subject guarantor. He immediately sends his recommendation back, and the clerk enters the result of a positive decision into the UIS. In case of disagreement with the recognition, the student is informed by a message in KC. The disapproving decision of the guarantor is final in this case. In the event that a student applies for the recognition of several subjects from a given semester, the first recommended subject is entered in the UIS as recognized, other requests are not taken into account.   About the recognition of credit from an uncompleted subject that the student studied at CZU (repetition of year, transfer of subject), can be requested only if not older than one year. The application is submitted by the student to the teacher/course guarantor, which decides on recognition. In the case of a positive opinion, the credit is entered in the UIS with the current date. The organization of the recognition of these credits is fully within the competence of the relevant department.   Credit from an uncompleted course that the student obtained outside of ČZU is not recognized.
