Development of educational content and their pilot use in the dComFra project

News

In the work package WP4, based on the available learning materials of the dComFra project, at least 14 learning modules will be created, which will be integrated into blocks according to the profile of social inclusion (e.g. war veterans, refugees from Donbas, etc.) and will be provided as separate courses in the format of optional subjects.

Comprehensive learning modules will be prepared based on learning goals in the Ukrainian language, and the course syllabus will also be in English. Furthermore, within the framework of WP4, pilot trainings for target groups will be organized.

The main activities under WP4 are:

  • Design of the training plan for the implementation of the pilot, including the selection of learning module topics, the procedure and criteria for the organization of the trained group, the schedule and program of training, communication, testing and certification.
  • Creation of E-platform
  • Creation of dComFra open educational resources: 14 learning modules, system of initial and internal testing and other materials. All materials will be available online.
  • Creation of curricula using separate optional courses/modules and blocks, taking into account the project and teaching method - short face-to-face and distance training and a framework for educators (approx. 210 schools and professional teachers will be involved and trained)
  • Providing training to refugees and veterans. The plan is to involve approximately 140 of these participants.
  • Conduct testing and certification by the selected international program for the best 7 teachers and 5 refugees/veterans at each of the Ukrainian universities

The WP4 solution period is June 15, 2020 – October 15, 2021. The coordinator of the WP4 work package is the Donetsk National Technical University and the co-coordinator is the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.
