It applies exclusively to PEF Department of Information Technology subjects! The recognition of an exam or credit must be in accordance with the valid wording of the Study and Examination Regulations for bachelor's and subsequent master's study programs of the CZU in Prague.

Duties of the student:

A student who started studying at TF from another faculty, university or re-sit the entrance exams at TF can apply for credit/examination recognition or subject credit in the given academic year until the end of the 1st week of the winter semester, i.e. no later than October 8. 2023 (applies to full-time and combined form of study). Applications submitted later are irrelevant and the department will not deal with them.

Exam recognition (credit) - according to the valid SZŘ, the exam/credit must not be older than 5 years.

The student fills out the application in the Contact Center (KC) application at UIS.

The student submits an application for recognition or credit of the subject at the beginning of the winter semester for the entire academic year (i.e. subjects for both WS and LS).
It is not possible to recognize the result of a successfully completed study that led to the acquisition of a university qualification.

Power of subject guarantors:
The guarantor of the subject writes his statement (agreement or disagreement) in the comment of the application in KC. In the case of a recognized exam from another university, the guarantor will specify the grade in the comments according to the classification levels of the ČZU in Prague.

For a student who started studying at TF from another faculty of CZU or took the entrance exams at TF again:
▪ the guarantor of the subject can recognize the credit (the subject completed according to the study plan only with credit),
▪ the subject guarantor can recognize the exam in the given subject (when the exam is recognized, the credit is also automatically recognized), at the same time, he determines the classification level of the recognized exam in the comment in KC.

For a student who repeats a year:
▪ a completed exam is always recognized when repeating the year according to the Study and Examination Regulations. Credit is always recognized for courses completed only with credit.
▪ for an uncompleted subject that ended with an exam, the credit obtained from the previous year may be recognized by the subject guarantor. The guarantor of the course will enter such a recognized credit into UIS.
▪ The recognition of an exam or credit must be in accordance with the valid wording of the Study and Examination Regulations for bachelor's and subsequent master's study programs of the CZU in Prague.
