Students of the Faculty of Business Economics at ČZL have once again confirmed that their education is based on a solid foundation of practical skills and modern technologies. As part of the course "Accounting in ERP", which is a key part of the Business Analyst study program, nineteen students successfully mastered the demanding challenges of one of the most widespread enterprise systems in the world - SAP S/4 HANA.
Connecting technology and economic processes
The success of the students, whose success in solving seven complex case studies exceeded 80 %, is not accidental. It is due to the close cooperation of the Department of Information Technology and the Department of Business and Finance. KIT played a crucial role in methodological leadership and technical provision of the teaching. The emphasis on the IT side of SAP systems and the ability to combine technical skills with knowledge of economic processes is exactly the element that advances teaching at PEF and gives graduates a head start in the digital labor market.
The certificates obtained are clear proof for future employers that graduates can think in a broader data context and can quickly solve real problems in the digital environment of companies.
Handover ceremony with the participation of management
The significance of the students' success was underlined by the ceremonial presentation of the certificate, which took place on April 16, 2026 at the premises of the Faculty of Education of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. From the hands of the 1st Vice-Dean for Educational Activities of the Faculty of Education, doc. Ing. Martin Pelikán, Ph.D. and with the participation of the guarantor Eng.. Marek Dvořák, Ph.D., Ing. Paed. IGIP and the teacher Ing. Tomáš Rain, Ph.D. (a practicing expert from STORMWARE).
This activity reaffirmed that connecting academia with IT practice and emphasizing cutting-edge technologies is the right way to prepare talent for modern, data-oriented organizations.
In the academic year 2025/2026, KIT, in cooperation with KOF, enabled 60 PEF students to enroll in the semester-long SAP Learning Hub course, at the end of which students can complete SAP certification exam completely for free.
