Project GoDigiBioS was presented at the 34th International Scientific Conference Agrarian perspectives, which took place on September 10-11, 2025 at the Faculty of Business Economics of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The conference annually brings together experts from academia, public administration and the application sector and creates a space for sharing the latest knowledge in the field of agriculture, digitalization and sustainable development.
As part of the workshop Digitization and Precision Agriculture Representatives of the Department of Information Technology of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the Czech University of Life Sciences presented the objectives of the DigiGoBioS project, which focuses on supporting the digital transformation of the bioeconomy through the development of digital skills, cooperation between academia and practice, and the use of modern digital technologies.
The presentation of the project focused mainly on the results achieved so far and planned activities in the field of education, partnership building and support of digital competences. The discussion also included the possibilities of connecting the project with other European initiatives focused on digitalization, innovation and sustainable development of rural areas.
Sharing experiences and finding synergies
The conference offered an opportunity to exchange experiences between researchers of European projects focused on the digitalization of agriculture, bioeconomy and rural development. In addition to the DigiGoBioS project, projects such as GRANULAR, CODECS, RURBANIVE, AGRITECH EU and SmartSkills.
The meeting confirmed the importance of cooperation between projects, especially in the areas of:
- sharing experiences with the use of digital technologies and innovative methods,
- development of digital competences and educational activities,
- cooperation with public administration, businesses and other bioeconomy actors,
- preparing joint activities and establishing new international partnerships.
Participation in the Agrarian Perspectives conference contributed to the promotion of the DigiGoBioS project and strengthened its connection with the European community of projects focused on the digital transformation of the bioeconomy. Sharing experiences with partner initiatives also opened up new opportunities for cooperation and contributed to the further development of project activities.
