The Vidzeme region in Latvia is still in its active period, as within the Vidzeme project it is implementing pilot activities and preparing the Regional Development Program for the period 2021-2027. The process takes place with the strong participation of professionals in the field, stakeholders at different policy levels, "newcomers" in the countryside, representatives of the research sector and local communities. A group of these stakeholders also forms a regional panel that is established for oversight and advisory purposes.
