On February 5th and 6th, colleagues from the Department of Information Technology, Assoc. Prof. Pavel Šimek, Ph.D. and Prof. Eva Kánská, Ph.D., attended the Kick off meeting and launched the GoDigiBioS project, a groundbreaking initiative focused on supporting transformative changes related to biodiversity towards a nature-friendly economy and society. 🌱

At this meeting, project partners and officials met to officially launch the GoDigiBioS project. They actively discussed the grant agreement and project activities, and aligned common goals, timelines, roles and responsibilities. 

This meeting, organized by IrRADIARE and the Instituto Superior de Gestão, presented the beginning of a joint journey to harness new digital and emerging technologies to support efforts to reverse biodiversity loss.
