On May 15, 2024, the presentation of the "Blockchain for Agrifood" project took place within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program. This event was attended by 13 pedagogues from the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (ČZU), who participate in various activities and projects, including the activities of the Teaching Center for Agricultural Processing at ČZU.
Pavel Šimek from ČZU opened the event with a lecture on the "Blockchain for Agrifood" project, aimed at ČZU pedagogues. During this lecture, the key outputs of the project, which have a significant impact on teaching in the food sector, were presented. The possibility of strengthening agricultural supply chains through the use of blockchain technology was also highlighted.
This project brings many innovative approaches and technologies that can improve efficiency and transparency in the food sector. A significant part of the lecture was also highlighting the practical applications of blockchain in agriculture and how these technologies can help in strengthening trust and cooperation between the various participants in the supply chain.
We would like to thank everyone involved for their active participation and feedback, which is very valuable to us. We would also like to thank to Pavel Šimek for his informative and inspiring presentation, which contributed to the success of the entire event.
