The State Secretary, as a service authority competent under § 10 paragraph 1 letter f) Act No. 234/2014 Coll., on the civil service, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Civil Service Act"), the Council of Ministers announces a selection procedure for a position in the Department of Precision Agriculture in the Department of Precision Agriculture, Research and Education in the Ministry of Agriculture in the field of services: No. 53. technical protection of the environment and No. 44. water management.

The place of service is Prague.

The service at this place of work will be performed in an employment relationship for an indefinite period.

Expected date of entry into service at the duty station is 1 October 2022

According to Appendix No. 1 to the Act, the position is classified in the 13th salary class.

In particular, the following activities are carried out at the workplace:

• Evaluating the benefits of precision agriculture technologies with respect to the environment.
• Expert consultations on the issue of precision agriculture within the work team.
• Methodical regulation of the use of precision agriculture technologies to protect the environment. 
• Cooperation with scientific, professional and public institutions on the development of precision agriculture in the Czech Republic.
• Creation of expert opinions and comments on legislative documents with an overlap in the areas of precision agriculture.
• Cooperation on the creation of a concept for the development of precision agriculture in the Czech Republic.
• Creation of the concept of financing water management and precision agriculture.
