On 24 January, 26 January, 31 January and 2 February 2017, the Department of Information Technologies organized 2nd year of bachelor's seminar. Most of the meetings were held in the morning and in the afternoon, and a total of 7 commissions took place.

3rd year students who are working on bachelor's theses at KIT, presented to a committee of members KIT his bachelor thesis. Each student could thus try to defend his BP "uncleanly".

The bachelor seminar was attended by 100 students in 7 sections. In each section, the top 3 places were usually awarded and students received diplomas for their performance and BP presentation.

Although some students were not sufficiently prepared, the undergraduate seminar had a positive response. The participants of the seminar received numerous comments and suggestions from teachers and colleagues and were able to incorporate them into the final versions of their works.

The next edition of the BP seminar is planned for the same period in 2018.
