On January 24, 2019, the workshop "Big and open GI data and open GI software for the needs of smart regions and cities, smart transport and smart agriculture" took place at the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague under the professional guarantee of the PEF Department of Information Technology. The main topic of the workshop was the presentation of practical results achieved with the help of research projects, familiarization with new trends and the presentation of data and tools, the development of which was co-financed by research projects.

  Organizations associated in Plan4all today play an important role in EU research within the Horizon 2020 program. This year they managed to get 6 new projects (SmartAgriHub, EO4Agri, PoliRural, STARGATE, SIEUSOIL, INNOVAR, the first two of which are already running). The main part of the conference was devoted to the presentation of outputs from already running projects: NextGEOSS, DataBio, IoF2020, SKIN, ROSIE, PoliVisu, EUXDAT, AgroTeach 4.0, Enabling, Premia, AFarCloud, EO4Agri, Simona, SmartAgriHub, LIVERUR. The next part of the conference followed the presentation of the results from the hackathons and other activities of the Plan4all association.
