Policy makers, experts, farmers, rural residents and new entrants are the main target groups in each pilot region of the individual partners in the position of regional panel members. The regional panel and the expertise of its members will play an important role in the implementation of the PoliRural project and will contribute to the development of rural policy. The first interviews and meetings with potential members of regional groups (hereafter referred to as stakeholders) showed possible areas of interest for cooperation in the pilot regions. In general, the stakeholders approached are interested in this project and its results. Also, the possibility to get involved in the local community is one of the main aspects of the willingness to participate in the project as a member of the regional panel.
