The Department of Information Technology participates in the Blockchain for Agrifood Educators project within Erasmus+. Coordinates WP 3 – WP3 In-person learning and exchange activity and Research and Content creation of Blockchain Education in the Agrifood Sector Classroom Course content.
About the project
Blockchain for Agri-Food Educators is an innovative project that seeks to transform the delivery of education in the agribusiness, food science and nutrition sectors through the strategic use of blockchain technology.
Project objectives
While blockchain is changing business models, productivity, competitiveness and growth, blockchain education in agri-food is still in its early stages. B-CHAIN AGRI-FOOD EDU will improve the incidence and quality of educators in providing education by developing new pedagogies in blockchain technologies including theories, methods, processes and educational concepts to address societal challenges in the food supply chain and accelerate the digitalization of the food sector.
