RURBANIVE
Date: 1. 1. 2024 – 31. 12. 2027
Project description
The project addresses regional inequalities and urban-rural relations. Its core tool is the Community Store, a digital environment that enables collaboration, sharing of ideas and co-development of innovations. It also uses augmented reality to experiment with new approaches to connecting urban and rural communities.
The project envisages six Rural-Urban Activators (RUE) and seven Co-creation Labs (RUCL), representing different geographical and socio-cultural conditions of the European Union. Different groups of participants will be involved in the design, testing and presentation of solutions.
Involvement of CZU
The Czech University of Life Sciences is to develop a digital platform connecting participants in agri-food supply chains. The platform is to support short supply chains, access to information, education, product certification and understanding of logistics.
Practical workshops, including both physical and virtual activities, are planned at the Agricultural Product Processing Training Center, focusing on price transparency, food traceability, and certification processes, among others.
KIT PEF ČZU and the Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources are collaborating on the project.
