On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, the master's degree program Global Information Security Management (GISM) was officially launched. The ceremonial opening, moderated by Ing. Jana Melezínková was attended by PEF dean doc. Ing. Tomáš Šubrt, Ph.D., program guarantor doc. Ing. Jiří Vaněk, Ph.D., main authors Ing. Miloš Ulman, Ph.D. and Dr. Akshay Pottathil, President of the Intelligence Research Institute (IRI), San Diego, USA and a host of guests.
GISM Master's Program is designed in a multidisciplinary way and is aimed at preparing experts in the field of information technology and data analytics to solve the new challenges of global society (climate change, conflicts and natural disasters), which have major impacts on current business, services and public institutions. The GISM study program was accredited in January 2022 and will be taught in English with the participation of foreign lecturers from the USA. Those interested from among the professional public will have the chance to participate in learning blocks with guest instructors and obtain a certificate in the field of Physical Security and Spatial Intelligence.
