First-year students of the Bachelor's degree program in Economics and Management (EaM) and Business and Administration (PaA) choose one elective course for the summer semester of the 2025/2026 academic year from October 27 to November 2, 2025.
KIT offers an optional subject in the summer semester Internet technologies, which loosely follows on from the subject Information and Communication Technology.
By completing the course, you will gain knowledge, experience and skills in the field of Internet technologies.

You will learn:
- how to choose the right technologies for e-commerce,
- how to properly use graphics options,
- what are the principles of using multimedia,
- how to correctly navigate the flood of data and information on the Internet - that is, how to use search engines very well for obtaining the necessary documents, for writing case studies, for preparing a bachelor's thesis, for making decisions,
- you will also find out what are the possibilities of using information systems in the web environment.
Of course, this will give you a good foundation for other optional subjects in higher years - for Web design, E-commerce (subjects that students regularly choose) and for mandatory Information Systems.
