As part of the subject "Accounting in ERP", which is a key part of the Business Analyst study program, nineteen students successfully mastered challenging challenges in one of the most widespread business systems in the world - SAP S/4 HANA.

Combination of technologies and economic processes

The success of the students, whose success in solving seven complex case studies exceeded 80%, is not accidental. It is supported by the close cooperation of the Department of Information Technology and the Department of Business and Finance. It was KIT that played a vital role in the methodical guidance and technical provision of teaching. The emphasis on the IT side of SAP systems and the ability to combine technical skills with knowledge of economic processes is exactly the element that advances teaching at PEF and gives graduates a head start on the digital labor market.

Certificates obtained are clear proof for future employers that graduates can think in a broader data context and can quickly solve real problems in the digital environment of companies.

Handover ceremony with the participation of management

The significance of the students' success was underscored by the ceremonial handing over of the certificate, which took place on April 16, 2026 in the premises of the PEF CZU in Prague. From the hands of the 1st Vice-Dean for Pedagogical Activities of PEF doc. Ing. Martin Pelikán, Ph.D. and with the participation of the guarantor Ing. Mark Dvořák, Ph.D., Ing. Ped. IGIP and teacher Ing. Tomáš Raina, Ph.D.(practice expert from STORMWARE).

This activity once again confirmed that the connection of the academic environment with IT practice and the emphasis on cutting-edge technologies are the right way to prepare talents for modern, data-oriented organizations.

In the 2025/2026 academic year, KIT, in cooperation with KOF, enabled 60 PEF students to enroll in the SAP Learning Hub semester course, at the end of which students can take the SAP certification exam completely free.
