Recognition of credits and exams (for TF) in the academic year 2026/2027

Recognition of credits and exams (for TF) in the academic year 2026/2027

According to the dates of pedagogical activities for the winter semester 2026/2027, the recognition of credits or exams takes place in the first two weeks of the semester. It applies exclusively to courses of the Department of Information Technologies, Faculty of Economics!

The student fills out the application in the Contact Center (KC) application in UIS.

▪ The student submits an application for recognition or crediting of a course at the beginning of the winter semester for the entire academic year (i.e. courses for both the winter semester and the summer semester).

▪ It is not possible to recognize the result of successfully completed studies that led to the acquisition of a higher education qualification.

Powers of subject guarantors:

▪ The course guarantor will write his/her statement (agreement or disagreement) in the comment of the application in the Central Registration Office. For a recognized exam from another university, the guarantor will specify the grade in the comment according to the ČZU classification levels.

▪ A credit or exam older than 5 years cannot be recognized. Recognized exams are not recognized.

For a student who has started studying at the Faculty of Life Sciences from another faculty of ČZU or has taken the entrance exams at the Faculty of Life Sciences again: ▪ the course guarantor may recognize the credit (a course completed according to the study plan with only a credit),

▪ the subject guarantor can recognize the exam in a given subject (when recognizing the exam, the credit is automatically recognized), and also determines the classification level of the recognized exam in the comment in the KC.

For a student who repeats a year:

▪ A completed exam is always recognized when repeating a year according to the Study and Examination Regulations. Credit is always recognized for subjects completed with only credit.

▪ for an incomplete subject concluded with an exam, the subject guarantor may recognize the credit obtained from the previous year. The entry of such recognized credit into the UIS will be carried out by the subject guarantor.

Recognition of an exam or credit must be in accordance with the current version of the Study and Examination Regulations for Bachelor's and Follow-up Master's degree programs at ČZU in Prague.
