The Department of Information Technologies is again organizing a separate cycle of professional lectures on current topics in the field of Information and Communication Technologies in the WS 2025/2026.

In WS 2025/2026, the Department of Information Technologies is once again organizing a separate series of professional lectures on current topics in the field of Information and Communication Technologies. The lectures offered will gradually be available from the recording during the academic year. The cycle of lectures takes place in ZS (period October to December).

The goal is primarily to enrich and supplement standard teaching, support the competitiveness of graduates on the labor market and further deepen departmental cooperation with practice.

Participating companies can offer students, in addition to the lecture's own thematic content, cooperation in the form of professional internships, BP or DP topics, participation in projects, etc.

The selected target group in ZS are students of the field of Informatics in the 3rd year of bachelor's, 1st year of subsequent master's studies. , as well as students of the field of business and administration in the 1st and 2nd years of the follow-up master's study. The lectures concern the subjects Web design and Computer networks.

Students are required to attend minimumone professional lecture (or two, if specified in the subject) of their own choice from the given cycle (credit condition). Of course, a student can also register for more lectures. Registration takes place via the forms on the KIT website (see below). The cycle of lectures runs from 20/10/2025 on Mondays from 15:45 in the EIV classroom, on some dates on Thursdays in EIV or EII. The cycle runs until8. December 2025.

Student registration for lectures will take place from October 2, 2025 through the department website.
