The national final of the \u0160KODA Biz Sim Cup 2022 competition took place on Friday, December 9, 2022. After two years, the final "battle in managerial and economic skills" could take place face-to-face at the \u0160koda Training Center in Mlad\u00e1 Boleslav.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final round of the competition was attended by 9 teams and a total of 50 students who advanced from the university rounds of three universities, namely the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (\u010cZU), the University of Hradec Kr\u00e1lov\u00e9 (UHK) and the University of Economics in Prague (V\u0160E). <\/span><\/p>\n

According to the plan, the winning groups of students from the previous school tournaments were supposed to compete in 5 rounds of the simulation game, where each round has 10 virtual days. However, due to the intervention of a "third party", the competition had to end after the 3rd round due to a sudden "game freeze" and the impossibility of starting a new round at that moment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite this very unpleasant and unexpected situation, the results were announced in a pleasant atmosphere. <\/span><\/p>\n

The team with the original name "FIS4WIN" from V\u0160E won, and the cup for the overall winner of the competition, including a financial reward of 40,000 crowns, was taken away. The second place was also taken by a team from V\u0160E called "Skoro \u0160koda" and the bronze place was taken by students from the team "Posledn\u00ed hradebccane" from UHK. Competitors from CZU did not follow up on last year's victory and placing on the podium. In total, the amount of 200,000 crowns was distributed in the competition, which was donated by \u0160KODA AUTO as the general partner. <\/span><\/p>\n

The goal of the simulation game was to establish appropriate logistics strategies, in which it was necessary to supply the central warehouse with products from the supplier and the regional warehouses connected to the central warehouse. The sales of the products sold depended on an appropriately chosen pricing policy. Product prices had to be chosen with an appropriate margin to compete with other teams. The simulation game was implemented in the environment of the SAP S\/4 HANA system. The contestants thus became familiar with the leading corporate information system.<\/span><\/p>\n
