V\u011bra Moty\u010dkov\u00e1, MA visited University College London (UCL). The aim of this week-long visit was to share good practice, exchange experiences and find opportunities for cooperation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

V\u011bra Moty\u010dkov\u00e1, MA visited\u00a0University College London<\/a>\u00a0(UCL) almost ten years after she graduated from that university with an MA in Electronic Communication and Publishing (now\u00a0Digital Humanities<\/a>) at the department\u00a0Information Studies<\/a>. After graduating in 2010, she joined the BBC Education<\/a>, where she collaborated for more than five years on projects focused on creating online educational materials for primary and secondary schools. Since January 2019, she has been working at the Department of Information Technologies PEF CZU and now she had the opportunity to visit her former university in London as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility project.<\/p>\n

The aim of this week-long visit was to share good practice, exchange experiences and find opportunities for cooperation. The professor warmly welcomed his former student Simon Mahony<\/a>, teacher and director Center for Digital Humanities<\/a>(UCLDH). They talked together about teaching and research in the field, but also about the administration associated with teaching and running the department. The discussion with colleagues working on the H2020 project was very beneficial, given that the Department of Information Technologies PEF \u010cZU in Prague is currently coordinating the project H2020 PoliRural<\/a>. It was also interesting to tour the new and refurbished premises, including the new classroom in Foster Court, the digitization laboratory and the student centre. Both parties welcome and look forward to future inter-university cooperation.<\/p>\n
