The Department of Information Technology (KIT) of the Faculty of Business Economics of the Czech University of Life Sciences organized on Friday, June 5, 2026<\/strong> partner meeting of the international AGRITECH EU project. For the purposes of this meeting, KIT used the high-quality facilities and very nice premises with a terrace of the Faculty of Tropical Agriculture of the Czech University of Life Sciences, which provided an ideal environment for professional discussion and presentation of technological outputs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main objective of the meeting was to evaluate the progress of the project so far, coordinate activities in the area of dissemination of results and define further steps of cooperation. The key point of the program was an online meeting with the European Commission official Radoslav Jakub, with whom the partners discussed in detail the achieved milestones and perspectives for the future development of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event organizers, doc. Ing. Pavel \u0160imek, Ph.D. and Ing. Eva K\u00e1nsk\u00e1, Ph.D. from KIT, also prepared a practical demonstration of technologies for the partners - the program included a visit to a specialized IoT laboratory, which was created as part of the research cooperation and is one of the main technological outputs of the project. Furthermore, the participants visited the VR laboratory and the HUBRU laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The working program was concluded with an informal part, during which the organizers took the foreign partners through the historical center of Prague. All participants then concluded the day together with dinner at the Kuchy\u0148 restaurant located in the Salmovsk\u00fd Palace right on Hrad\u010dany Square. Partners and guests had the opportunity to taste traditional Czech cuisine and enjoy the view of evening Prague from the adjacent terrace, which contributed to a relaxed atmosphere and further strengthening of partnership relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AGRITECH EU project, in which KIT actively participates, is coordinated by the University of Pisa<\/p>\n\n\n\n
