The first shipment of IoT devices purchased with grant funds within the project Agritech EU<\/strong> has already begun to be actively used in teaching at Department of Information Technology<\/strong>Students work with them during practical exercises, on semester projects and when working on final theses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The device is used, for example, to data collection from soil and climate sensors<\/strong>, animal movement tracking<\/strong> or environmental monitoring<\/strong>Their involvement in teaching allows students to work with real data and develop skills in the field. Internet of Things (IoT)<\/strong> and Smart Farming<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The acquisition of these technologies represents an important step towards modernizing teaching and bringing students closer to current trends in precision agriculture. The department plans to continue their use and expand their collaboration with the Bromil farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
