This year's 6th annual bachelor's seminar DIT FEM CULS in Prague, due to the worsened pandemic situation, took place untraditionally exclusively in distance mode through videoconferencing on 19 January, 21 January, 26 January and 28 January 2021. Total 8 sections took place, two of which were primarily intended for students of study programs taught in English.
Students who are working on bachelor's thesis at DIT gave their presentation to the committee. The aim was to present the intention of the bachelor's thesis (BT) and to defend the achieved or planned results of the solution. 103 students presented their results here (out of a total of 109 registered). Within the individual sections, best works (first three places) were awarded diplomas. Several students received a "yellow card" and several other students were advised to postpone the finals.
The bachelor's seminar was evaluated positively by the students. Students had the opportunity to try to defend their BT in a "dry run" situation, they could consult the issues with experts and colleagues and incorporate the comments of the commission when completing the work.
