The graduate seminar – a scientific research workshop KIT, organized by the Department of Information Technologies of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, took place for the twenty-seventh time this year. It was newly held on two dates – February 27, 2025 and March 6, 2025 – on the premises of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The seminar is regularly attended by master's students who are completing their diploma thesis in a given year.

The venue was traditionally the ČZU Library, and this year part of the program also took place in the ČZU Rectorate building.

The discussion took place in five committees, consisting of members of the department and experts from practice. Each committee, based on predetermined evaluation criteria, selected and awarded up to three best works. Students who were awarded for excellent presentation of their work received diplomas.

In total, the seminar presented 71 department graduates. During the first term, Commission No. 3 was conducted in English, as all students in this section presented the results of their work in English in accordance with their field of study. The evaluation of the works was undertaken by 23 experts from the department and representatives of practice.

The seminar has long been very positively received by students, especially thanks to the opportunity to present and defend their work "in its raw form" and receive valuable feedback from experts and colleagues from various study fields.

The department plans to organize another year again at the CULS premises and maintain the two-day format, mainly due to limited capacity and high classroom occupancy.

Many thanks go to all committee members and external experts for their active participation, as well as to the employees of the catering company and the ČZU Library for their support in organizing the event.
