On September 24, 2021, the PEF Department of Information Technologies participated in the Night of Scientists event with the project Automatic classification of activities during UX and usability texting.
This year's Night of Scientists program was focused on the theme of TIME. Here, the department presented a project that investigates the possibilities of automating the evaluation of eye tracking data during user experience (UX) and usability testing.
"As part of the research, we would like to use machine learning technologies in order to be able to identify the form elements with which the user is working. We will build on this in the future. The effort in the first phase is that we will be able to identify places where there are usability problems. This would result in significant savings in the time required to analyze data from the laboratory. Ten minutes of usability testing footage often takes up to hours of analysis," intends the possibilities of further use, the main researcher of the project Automatic classification of activities during texting UX and usability Ing. Jan Masner, Ph.D.
