In November 2022, Ing. successfully defended their doctoral theses. Eva Kánská, Ph.D., Ing. Vojtěch Novák, Ph.D. and Ing. Jan Pavlík, Ph.D., congratulations!

  Ing. Eva Kánská, Ph.D. she defended her dissertation before the committee on November 29, 2022 and received the Ph.D. in the information management doctoral program. Dissertation on the topic Selected aspects of ICT in the agricultural sector deals with the issue of comprehensive mapping of the continuous development of ICT implementation in the agrarian sector in the long term and in the context of the development of rural regions. Instructor Ing. Evy Kánské, Ph.D. was doc. Ing. Pavel Šimek, Ph.D. Ing. Vojtěch Novák, Ph.D. became the first successful graduate of the Systems Engineering and Informatics program on November 22, 2022. He defended his dissertation on the topic Methods of collecting, processing and visualizing IoT and data in a GIS environment and earned a Ph.D. before the doctoral committee. In his dissertation, he deals with the design of a method and a recommendation optimizing the operation of IoT sensor networks for the needs of geographic information systems. Instructor Ing. Vojtěch Novák, Ph.D. was doc. Ing. Jiří Vaněk, Ph.D. Ing. Jan Pavlík, Ph.D. became the second successful graduate of the Systems Engineering and Informatics program when he defended his dissertation on November 22, 2022 and received the Ph.D. before the doctoral committee. In his dissertation on the topic Automation and processing of spatial data deals with the proposal of a methodology for improving the solution to the model situation of processing agricultural simulations for sub-areas: - increasing demands for processing due to increasing volumes of data; - reusability of developed supporting software tools; - data processing speed.
