In November 2022, Ing. successfully defended their doctoral theses. Eva K\u00e1nsk\u00e1, Ph.D., Ing. Vojt\u011bch Nov\u00e1k, Ph.D. and Ing. Jan Pavl\u00edk, Ph.D., congratulations!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ing. Eva K\u00e1nsk\u00e1, Ph.D.<\/strong> she defended her dissertation before the committee on November 29, 2022 and received the Ph.D. in the information management doctoral program. Dissertation on the topic Selected aspects of ICT in the agricultural sector <\/em>deals with the issue of comprehensive mapping of the continuous development of ICT implementation in the agrarian sector in the long term and in the context of the development of rural regions.<\/p>\n

Instructor Ing. Evy K\u00e1nsk\u00e9, Ph.D. was doc. Ing. Pavel \u0160imek, Ph.D.<\/p>\n

Ing. Vojt\u011bch Nov\u00e1k, Ph.D.<\/strong> became the first successful graduate of the Systems Engineering and Informatics program on November 22, 2022. He defended his dissertation on the topic Methods of collecting, processing and visualizing IoT and data in a GIS environment<\/em> and earned a Ph.D. before the doctoral committee. In his dissertation, he deals with the design of a method and a recommendation optimizing the operation of IoT sensor networks for the needs of geographic information systems.<\/p>\n

Instructor Ing. Vojt\u011bch Nov\u00e1k, Ph.D. was doc. Ing. Ji\u0159\u00ed Van\u011bk, Ph.D.<\/p>\n

Ing. Jan Pavl\u00edk, Ph.D. <\/strong>became the second successful graduate of the Systems Engineering and Informatics program when he defended his dissertation on November 22, 2022 and received the Ph.D. before the doctoral committee. In his dissertation on the topic Automation and processing of spatial data<\/em> deals with the proposal of a methodology for improving the solution of the model situation of the processing of agricultural simulations for the sub-areas:<\/p>\n

- increasing processing demands due to growing volumes of data; - reusability of developed supporting software tools; - speed of data processing.<\/p>\n
