On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, it took place in Prague A day with the farmers<\/strong>, a traditional meeting, the aim of which is to connect agricultural practice with research, innovation and education. The event was organized by the Department of Information Technology of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague and \u00dahlava, ops in cooperation with the Czech Academy of Agricultural Sciences (\u010cAZV) and the Association of Private Farmers of the Pilsen Region. The meeting was attended not only by farmers, but also by experts from research institutions and other interested parties who are interested in current trends in agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants were welcomed at the beginning of the program by the Vice-Dean for Innovation and Technology Transfer of the Faculty of Business Economics and the Director of the Food Pavilion (FAPPZ), who created an open and friendly atmosphere for discussion on current topics in Czech agriculture. The key idea of the entire event was already stated at the beginning: agriculture today stands at the crossroads of traditional everyday practice and rapidly developing technologies that are fundamentally changing the form of production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the meeting was connect agricultural practice with research through professional research and education<\/strong>, to present the latest results of agricultural research and create a space for discussion on current trends and challenges in the field. Attention was paid in particular to precision agriculture<\/strong>, modern procedures in food industry<\/strong> and possibilities use of artificial intelligence in agricultural primary production<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

In addition to expert lectures and presentations, the event also offered an opportunity for informal meetings between participants. Farmers had the opportunity to discuss their specific operational issues with researchers, establish collaborations and share experiences. Many appreciated the opportunity to meet face-to-face with colleagues from different regions and institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Day with Farmers once again confirmed that the connection between university research, the professional community and agricultural practice is of great importance. The event brought not only a wealth of professional information, but also inspiration and motivation for the further development of Czech agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
