Students of the first year of the master's degree program Informatics (INFO), Economics and Management (EaM) and Business and Administration (PAA) choose one elective subject for the summer semester of the academic year 2025/2026 between October 27, 2025 and November 2, 2025.
KIT offers the following optional subjects in the summer semester for the first year of the master's degree in individual study programs:

The aim of the course IT for e-business is to provide students with a synthetic view of the development of information technology (IT) from both the manager's point of view and the point of view of the business and the effects of IT on users. A partial goal is to demonstrate to students how to do business using the Internet and how to compete in today's online world. The practical part of the subject is mainly focused on e-commerce and the realization of B2C and B2B services online.
The aim of the course Digital transformation of the company is to introduce students to the basic principles of digital transformation and business architecture. The course will provide basic knowledge, experience and skills about digital transformation approaches, models and tools. The aim of the subject Business information systems is to provide students with knowledge and experience in the selection, construction and operation of information systems. When processing the project, the situation in the selected enterprise will be modeled - the selection of an information system and its recommendations.
