CYCLE OF LECTURES BY PRACTICE EXPERTS WS 2024/2025

In WS 2024/2025, the Department of Information Technologies is once again organizing a separate cycle of professional lectures on current topics in the field of Information and Communication Technologies. The lectures offered will gradually be available from the recording during the academic year. The cycle of lectures takes place in ZS (period October to December).

The goal is primarily to enrich and supplement standard teaching, support the competitiveness of graduates on the labor market and further deepen departmental cooperation with practice.

Participating companies can offer students, in addition to the lecture's own thematic content, cooperation in the form of professional internships, BP or DP topics, participation in projects, etc.

The selected target group in ZS are students of the field of Informatics, as well as students of the economics and management fields of Business and Administration in the 2nd year of the bachelor's, 1st and 2nd year of the subsequent master's studies. The lectures concern the subjects Web design, Computer networks, Client Side Internet technologies, ICT for managers.

Students are required to attend at least one professional lecture (or two, if specified in the subject) of their own choice from the given cycle (credit condition). Of course, a student can also register for more lectures. Registration takes place via the forms on the KIT website (see below). The cycle of lectures runs from 21/10/2024 as standard on Mondays from 15:45 in the EIV classroom, in some dates on EII and EIII. The cycle runs until 9. December 2024.

Student registration for lectures will take place from 03.10.2024 via the website of the department.
