The first years of the bachelor's degree program Economics and Management (EaM) and Business and Administration (PaA) choose one elective subject for the summer semester of the 2024/2025 academic year from October 28 to November 3, 2024.
KIT offers an optional course in the summer semester Internet Technologies, which loosely follows on from the course Information and Communication Technologies.
By completing the course, you will gain knowledge, experience and skills in the field of internet technologies.

You will learn:
- how to choose the right technologies for e-commerce,
- how to properly use graphics options,
- what are the principles of using multimedia,
- how to navigate correctly in the flood of data and information on the Internet - that is, how to use search engines very well for obtaining the necessary documents, for writing case studies, for preparing a bachelor's thesis, for your decisions,
- Furthermore, you will find out what are the possibilities of using information systems in the web environment.
Of course, this will give you a good foundation for other optional subjects in the upper years - for Web design, Electronic commerce (subjects regularly chosen by students) and for compulsory Information systems.
