AGRITECH EU project partners meeting in Spain
On days 27-28 On May 2025, the partners of the AGRITECH EU project met in Almería, Spain, for a two-day working meeting hosted by the University of Almería (UAL).
On days 27-28 On May 2025, the partners of the AGRITECH EU project met in Almeria, Spain, at a two-day working meeting hosted by the University of Almería (UAL). Among the participants there were also representatives of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, namely Ing. Eva Kánská, Ph.D. and doc. Ing. Pavel Šimek, Ph.D..
The AGRITECH EU project, co-financed by the European Union, supports innovation in agricultural education - it focuses on the development of competence-oriented training and the introduction of digital technologies in rural areas.
During the consortium meeting:
- Evaluated the status of project activities and financial reporting
- Shared national experience with the implementation of training in 6 countries
- Introduced the first Rural Labs demonstrators
- Visited UAL's modern greenhouses, including a demonstration of AR/VR technologies
- Discussed next steps and a proposal to continue the AGRITECH EU II project
The two-day event was a sign of cooperation, the exchange of experience in teaching precision agriculture and a common vision of building study programs that will support the digital agricultural sector of the participating countries of the European Union.
