Miloš Ulman, Ph.D., spoke at the second year the Left of Boom 2016 conference organized by the Center for Information Convergence and Strategy (CICS) at San Diego State University, California on May 4-6, 2016. More than 30 speakers from government and non-government sectors, academia and business, focused in its presentations on proactive approaches to limiting new threats and challenges in areas such as business, security, health, environment, science and technology at the local, national and international levels. Before the conference, Miloš Ulman met with colleagues from the partnership SDSU College of Business Administration, with which PEF ČZU in Prague successfully cooperates in the field of student exchanges and organizing summer schools. The visit to San Diego State University and participation in the conference was made possible thanks to the contribution of the International Department of PEF and the Department of Information Technology.
